Steve Mullen
I started taking pictures in 1969 while serving in the US Navy and, after my discharge, earned a degree in business administration. I then enrolled in the prestigious Antonelli Institute of Art and Photography in Philadelphia and upon graduation was invited to teach there. I was soon promoted to Head of the Color Department and after eight great years, the challenge to open my own studio was too strong to ignore.
I’ve won a bunch of awards for my work and had many gallery exhibitions. My personal work is now focused on capturing the surfing scene in New Jersey.
My interests and photographic challenges are as broad as my client base, ranging from Mattel Toys and Modern Bride to casinos, major financial institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and the Armed Forces. I’ve created solutions to shoot from helicopters, underwater, and jumping out of perfectly good airplanes at 13,000 feet.
For advertising and editorial work, I cast talent, scout locations, coordinate support, and generally take care of all the details necessary to produce pictures that will impress you and your clients. I embrace weddings and portraits with the same degree of enthusiasm.
Bottom line is ... I love what I do and have fun doing it. If you like my pictures and feel I might be best suited for an upcoming project, please contact me by e-mail or telephone.
Thanks again and have a great day!
Steve
